"All things work together for good...."

"Beep, Beep, Beep... " It's only 6:30 in the morning so I ignored this interruption to my thoughts. Went on praying and praising in what I expected to be a quiet time. Finally, I could resist it no longer and went to the window to find the culprit. It was no surprise to find it raining because I looked at the forecast last night before turning off the P.C.; but the builders were on sight a bit early and the GRADALL machine was in full gear backwards thus the beeping.

You may wonder where all this is leading but stick with me.. it's a modern day 'parable'. They are building a Tire Store just across the street from us and we can view every step they are and have taken. Believe me, some of it has been very bazaar. For instance, they poured the cement for the foundation and smoothed it carefully, then scraped and scraped it, even polished it to a shine, almost. Of course, they wet it down so the sun wouldn't dry it too fast, etc. NOW for the most bazaar thing we had ever seen...

They came in with this GRADALL machine and dumped dirt all over it. Well, we thought we must have received wrong information... It wasn't going to be a Tire store, after all. It must be a nursery for plants!! We were really confused or even worse... these men must be insane.

Now as I gazed out the window our Heavenly Father spoke some interesting words to me.... "Remember how they prepared the foundation and smoothed it and polished it? Sometimes everything seems just perfect in your life and all is going really well and then.... a big load of dirt gets dumped right in the middle of your life, and not only that but it begins raining and everything becomes muddy and messy. Check it out- these men are moving steadily ahead, imperious of the mud and mess, why? Because they know the blue prints. They also know the weather is going to be unpredictable but the architect and builder (Boss) knows all that and has taken it all into consideration. He knew that the work called for large vehicles to drive on the concrete after the building started to go up, the builder had a vision of the finished product!"

My Lord assured me that the dirt and rain coming into my life and others' at this time is needful for the ''building" to be correct and that Our Master Architect and Creator is much more concerned about our lives and the interruptions than any human being who is building a structure that WILL NOT last. Thank YOU, HOLY SPIRIT.. for this parable this morning. May God bless each of you who are reading this and who are going through hard times. This is not all I'm learning these days. I'm reading Merlin Carothers' book- "Power in Praise". If you haven't had the opportunity to read it yet, you are in for a huge blessing and change of heart and life. God bless until next time.. so long.
